1. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account, downloading, installing, accessing, or using Antorum Online, its website, game client, services, or related downloads, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account, access the services, or use the game.
2. Eligibility
Antorum Online is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older.
By creating an account or using the services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
3. About the Service
These Terms apply to your use of:
- the Antorum Online website
- user accounts
- the game client
- multiplayer services
- patches, updates, and downloadable files
- any editor, dedicated server, or related software we may provide
4. License to Use Antorum Online
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Rat Wizard LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use Antorum Online for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
This is a license, not a sale. Rat Wizard LLC and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to Antorum Online and all related software, content, branding, assets, systems, and materials.
5. Restrictions
You may not, unless expressly permitted by Rat Wizard LLC in writing:
- copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, or publicly display the game or service
- sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit Antorum Online
- repackage, relabel, or redistribute the game or any part of it as your own product
- sell a mod, altered build, or derivative package as a separate or new game
- remove, alter, or obscure copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it
- exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended behavior for unfair advantage
- use cheats, hacks, bots, scripts, automation, or unauthorized third-party tools
- interfere with or disrupt the servers, systems, or normal operation of the service
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes
6. Accounts
You may need an account to access some or all parts of Antorum Online.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- all activity that occurs under your account
- providing accurate registration information
You may not share, sell, transfer, or assign your account to another person without our written permission.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the integrity, fairness, or security of the game or service.
7. Multiplayer Rules and Conduct
When using Antorum Online, you agree not to:
- harass, threaten, or abuse other players
- impersonate Rat Wizard LLC staff or another user
- exploit multiplayer systems unfairly
- intentionally disrupt gameplay for others
- use cheats, automation, or exploits in multiplayer environments
- evade suspensions, bans, or enforcement actions
We may investigate behavior that affects game fairness, service stability, or player safety, and may take action at our sole discretion.
8. Updates, Changes, and Availability
Antorum Online is an evolving online service. We may modify, patch, rebalance, suspend, remove, or discontinue features, content, accounts, downloads, or services at any time.
We do not guarantee that the game or website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all systems.
9. Ownership
Antorum Online and all related materials, including but not limited to software, code, text, dialogue, art, models, designs, music, logos, trademarks, branding, systems, and downloadable files, are owned by Rat Wizard LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
10. Mods and Related Materials
You may not distribute, sell, market, or present a modification, altered build, or adapted version of Antorum Online as a separate commercial product or as an original standalone game derived from Antorum Online.
If Rat Wizard LLC later publishes separate modding rules, tool licenses, or private server policies, those additional terms will also apply where relevant.
11. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access to Antorum Online at any time if:
- you violate these Terms
- we believe your conduct harms the service or other users
- we believe your account poses a security, legal, or operational risk
You may stop using the service at any time.
Upon termination, the license granted to you under these Terms ends immediately.
12. Disclaimers
Antorum Online and all related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Rat Wizard LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability.
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of bugs or harmful components.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rat Wizard LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or access arising out of or related to your use of Antorum Online.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Rat Wizard LLC for any claim arising out of or relating to Antorum Online will not exceed the amount you paid to Rat Wizard LLC for access to the service during the 12 months before the claim arose, or fifty U.S. dollars (US $50), whichever is greater.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rat Wizard LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of:
- your misuse of Antorum Online
- your violation of these Terms
- your violation of applicable law
- your infringement of any third-party rights
15. Privacy
Your use of Antorum Online is also subject to the Antorum Online Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the website with a revised "Last Updated" date.
Where appropriate, we may require you to accept updated Terms before continuing to access the service.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law rules.
